Even though I was a member of a branch, I hardly ever went. I was visiting several congregations but never settling down. On a Saturday afternoon I received a call from a dear friend, Jack Hagensen. I had not heard from him for a long time. He told me he had been thinking of me and wanted to invite me to a new branch, Living Hope, which was starting up the next day. He said that they were going to have a pot luck. I thanked him for asking me and told him that I might come.
I got up the next day and prepared a dish. I decided to see what the branch had to offer. When Dayn Cederstrom stood up to share the Mission Statement of Living Hope, my soul was moved and touched by what he had to say. Everyone in the branch has made me feel love and wanted. I have been spiritually fed!
We all have a calling to love and serve our fellow man. I pray that the Lord will teach us from on high. I want to thank Living Hope for accepting me in the branch.
