Testimonies of
Jesus
My testimony of Jesus is built upon the revelation that I see Jesus in and through all things. I
have not had Jesus manifest himself to me in the flesh, but I know He lives. There is not a
second of time in any day that I doubt that He exists. Even when I sin I do not question His
existence.

A scripture that is important to me and is a basis for my belief is found in Alma 16:49. Alma is
confronting an unbeliever who was persecuting the church with his unbelief. His name was
Korihor. Alma asks Korihor if there is a God, and Korihor says no, there is no God and there is
no Christ. Alma then responds with these thoughts -
"But behold, I have all things as a testimony
that these things are true; and ye also have all things as a testimony unto you that they are true;
and will ye deny them. Believest thou that these things are true? "

All things testify of God and Jesus. When we see the order of the universe and creation we can
not help but see that there was a divine mind and intelligence behind everything - from the
smallest to the largest of creation. When I hear the testimony of others, I believe. When God
intervenes in my life in majestic and miraculous ways I believe. As I understand the plan of
salvation it makes sense to me. When I live by the principles of Jesus I experience joy and
know that living in this manner fulfills what God says it will in my life and the life of others
confirms to me that living by God's way is truly the best way to live.

Jesus is life, and God's work and glory is the immortality and eternal life of man. I am the
happiest when I am in God's Spirit.
